Thurles-based fashion designer Heidi Higgins will showcase her latest collection at Ireland’s annual ARC Fashion Show on Thursday, March 28 at the RDS Concert Hall in Dublin.

Now in its ninth year, the ARC Fashion Show will feature the biggest line-up yet with 25 fashion designers, five accessories’ designers and eight milliners.

Renowned Irish author and cancer survivor Emily Hourican will inaugurate the show which is produced by Eddie Shanahan.

All funds raised will be dedicated to supporting ARC Cancer Support Centres who offer vital psychological, emotional, practical, and educational assistance to individuals of all ages affected by cancer and their caregivers.

Speaking about the show Heidi said: "Celebrating the fusion of creativity and craftsmanship at this year's ARC Fashion Show in the RDS, I am thrilled to be among the esteemed designers showcasing our work. This event is not just a platform but a vibrant canvas that brings Irish design into the spotlight, highlighting our dedication to innovation, elegance, and the unique narrative of Irish fashion."

A hugely popular segment of the show is The ARC Angels sequence, and this year will see four ARC service users join the professional models on the runway to showcase eight exquisite millinery creations, inspired by the elements: EARTH, AIR, FIRE, and WATER. These show stopping pieces are created by Irish milliners including Aura, Leonora Ferguson, Aoife Harrison, Aoife Kirwan, Wendy Louise Knight, Ailish McElroy, Emily Jean O'Byrne, Siobhan Daly and each will wear dresses designed by Róisín Dockry.

Dee Grant, CEO, ARC Cancer Support Centres, says: "With an audience of 900 people in attendance, The ARC Fashion Show has become a firm favorite among the Irish public and a must-see fixture in calendars across Ireland. With the proceeds raised from the event, it means that ARC can be there for men, women and children affected by cancer and those who care for them. It means that we can be there for them every step of the way for as long as they need us. All of our services at ARC are provided completely free of charge."
