Tipperary cancer care group receives funds from a marathon tennis tournament
Kilfeacle Community Tennis Club go the extra mile for cancer care
A presentation was made recently to the Circle of Friends Cancer Support Care Centre in Tipperary Town.
The presentation was made by the Kilfeacle Community Tennis Club following a fundraising event they had organised.
Everybody associated with the centre is grateful to Eamon Dalton for his amazing contribution in organising the event and the centre is deeply indebted to all involved in the fundraising gesture.
The Golden Vale Challenge had 223 players battling it out over 12 weeks. After 5,300 games, 305 matches, and over 100 tiebreaks, the finals took place.
Congratulations to all the finalists and a huge thank you to every participant. Your sportsmanship and dedication have been truly inspiring.
