Tipperary CCTV scheme called one of the best in the country
But there is still no date available for the Littleton scheme to go live
The Littleton CCTV scheme is one of the best applications in the country.
That is according to the Director of Services for Environment and Climate Action, Corporate Support Services and Human Resources Eamon Lonergan.
At last month’s sitting of Tipperary County Council, Littleton councillor Sean Ryan asked for an update on the scheme saying:
“We are heading into the winter now. It’s important that we get that up and running to keep the community safe,” said Cllr Ryan.
Mr Lonergan said that while there was no date yet for it to go live, the garda commissioner had approved it and the district was assessing the costs.
“That scheme is in such a good place,” said Mr Lonergan.
