Tipperary childcare facility set for major redevelopment pending planning approval

A major redevelopment of a Tipperary childcare facility will get underway following the receipt of planning permission.
A planning application was submitted to Tipperary County Council this week (Thursday August 1) for the change of use of the existing preschool/school age childcare facility at Fantane North, Borrisoleigh to provide a full day care facility.
If granted, the development - which is located at Fantane National School - will include a baby room, toddler room, associated sleep rooms, proprietary treatment plant and raised bed percolation area.
Retention permission is also required for an existing prefabricated unit for a period of five years, the preschool building, staff canteen prefabricated unit, existing carpark, open storage shed, bin storage unit, kitchen area, open roofed playground pergola, and ancillary site works.
