Tipperary councillor submits Freedom of Information request surrounding UHL safety audits

A Tipperary county councillor has submitted a Freedom of Information request to Limerick County Council surrounding safety audits at University Hospital Limerick.
The hospital has been hit by high trolley numbers over the recent months.
Cllr Seamus Morris has now asked if he can have all records of inspections carried out at the Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick since January 1, 2019, and any correspondence to the management of UHL as a result of the inspections and any recommendations to management and any follow-up correspondence as a result of these recommendations.
He has also asked for a copy of any fire certificates issued since that date.
"Can I also ask how Limerick County Council ignored a request from me as a county councilor and HSE West forum member to inspect the ED as requested by me by email on September 21, 2023?" he said in his submission.
