Tipperary dance school is announced as finalist for two dance awards

AOK-DANCE has been shortlisted to the top five in the country for Contemporary Dance School of the Year, and also for Tipperary Dance School of the Year.
A dance school in Tipperary has shared that it has been shortlisted as finalists in two categories of a dance awards ceremony taking place in Dublin.
AOK-DANCE in Clonmel has been shortlisted for the top five in the country for Contemporary Dance School of the Year, and also for Tipperary Dance School of the Year.
In a social media post made online celebrating the news, Aoife O'Keeffe the schools owner said: "With the school celebrating our 10-year anniversary this year, this is a lovely way to mark it.
"I never expected to be nominated, let alone make the final five, so I am delighted to get this acknowledgment.
"But this isn't for me, this is for my students who have supported and trusted me along the way, I know they will be delighted with this recognition.
"Really looking forward to getting dolled up for the awards night in September, and celebrating dance in Ireland with fellow nominees. Everything's AOK!"
