Tipperary Fianna Fáil hosts Business Breakfast in Thurles

Tipperary Fianna Fáil Jackie Cahill, was delighted to host a Business Breakfast with Minister for Finance Michael McGrath in the Anner Hotel Thursday May 25.

Speaking on this today, the Tipperary TD said:

“It was an honour to host a Business Breakfast with my Government colleague and Minister for Finance, Michael McGrath, here in Thurles this morning in a packed Anner Hotel.

A large gathering from all over Tipperary came here today to listen to Minister McGrath’s future plans for our economy.”

“Minister McGrath will be delivering his first Budget as Minister for Finance this coming October, and it was a welcome opportunity to hear the Minister outline his fiscal plans for the economy.

As we know, due to the prudent management of our economy in recent years, a significant budget surplus has been accrued, and Minister McGrath received plenty of lobbying on how best to spend this surplus in our Q&A session.”

“Minister McGrath made strong commitments to Tipperary here today, and he acknowledged the long list of investment into County Tipperary in the lifetime of this Government; this included highlighting the €75 million granted to Tipperary University Hospital earlier this month.

“Industry representatives and local Fianna Fáil members were delighted with the opportunity to meet with Minister McGrath and hear first-hand, his plans for Tipperary and the Irish economy”, concluded Deputy Cahill.
