Tipperary gardaí have issued advice for crime prevention for tourists.
In a post on social media, gardaí advised tourists to:
- Park your car in an area of high traffic.
- Leave nothing on display in your vehicle.
- Always take cash and travel documents with you and ensure they are secured in pockets with zips.
- If unfamiliar with the area - drop a pin in your map app before you set off exploring.
- Report any crime to local Gardaí or seek assistance from the Irish Tourist Assistance Service. (www.touristsos.ie)
- Leave no trace.
