2. Eoghan Connolly Rating: 7/10 A man who is beginning to bed in nicely at this level. Had another assured performance throughout the game and was largely untroubled. Took the short puckouts well and looked steady in possession.

3. Michael Breen Rating: 7/10 He cut a lone figure for much of the first half as he kept tabs on Domhnall Nugent at the edge of the square but rarely had too much to do throughout. He blocked a certain goal in the second half bravely and his decision making as the last line of defence continues to improve.

4. Bryan O'Mara Rating: 6/10 Operating as a spare man throughout his time on the pitch, O'Mara was very good before his half time withdrawal. He mopped up possession consistently which gave Tipp a good platform to kill the game in the first half.

5. Enda Heffernan Rating: 8/10 Anytime the Clonoulty Rossmore man takes to the pitch he generally impresses but he did add a clinical scoring touch to this performance in Corrigan Park. He scored 0-3 brilliant efforts throughout the match and his composure on the ball was always assured. He is a live option to play games throughout the championship in some capacity.
