10. Dan McCormack Rating: 8/10 Another of the more experienced players who set the tone early on, winning a few hard possessions and drawing his obligatory frees. He popped up all over the pitch and showed great vision of his own in setting Mark Kehoe free for his goal in the second half. A very important player for this team.

11. Gearoid O'Connor Rating: 6/10 Some might say it is a harsh rating for O’Connor but aside from his goal (which was very well taken) he struggled at times to get into the game in a meaningful way and left a few scorable frees behind in the second half from good positions. Worked hard all game long but he will be happy with some of his contributions.

9. Conor Stakelum Rating: 7/10 Stakelum had a lot to prove to management after not starting the Clare game after a dip in form, and the Thurles man really put in a physical and tireless effort all game. He does all the simple things well on the ball, but his efforts out of possession in tackling and covering space is unreal. He is a dog for a man of his stature and it was good to see him back to the form he showed in the early parts of the year.

13. Jason Forde Rating: N/R Picked up an unfortunate hamstring injury in the process of scoring a lovely point after 12 minutes. Had hit his frees well up to his withdrawal. He will be needed going forward.
