6. Joe Caesar Rating: 6/10 Had a quiet but functional game. He sat in the six pocket as is the want of modern centre-backs, which allowed Aidan O'Connor to pilfer scores. Did fine.

7. Mason Cawley Rating: 6/10 Had a few moments where he took off into those trademark runs that were a highlight of his recent campaign with Nenagh Éire Óg. His athleticism is apparent, but he just needs to tidy up his use of the ball thereafter. Plenty to work with.

8. Darragh Stakelum Rating: 8/10 Stakelum showed real leadership from the off in this one. A steady hand to an inexperienced lineup, he popped over a few lovely long-range scores and got through plenty of possession too.

9. Peter McGarry Rating: 6/10 Captained the side on the night, but had a lot less of an influence than his Sarsfields counterpart at midfield.
