6. Eoghan Connolly Rating: 6/10 A first start of the campaign at six for Connolly, he was in the toughest position with Aidan O'Connor dropping and scoring at will to good effect. It is the conundrum of the modern six as he likely was told to sit and not follow the Ballybrown shooter. He hit a few class obligatory frees from range and will take time to get back to full flight.

7. Seamus Kennedy Rating: 7/10 A good outing for Kennedy who looks physically impressive in comparison to his shape throughout 2025. At one point, he showed huge pace to follow a run on Kyle Hayes and get a flick in, and that highlights how fresh and ready he looks.

8. Willie Connors Rating: 5/10 One to forget for Connors who was chasing shadows in the first half before being dismissed after 20 second of the second half.

9. Conor Stakelum Rating: 6/10 Endeavoured hard all game but along with his midfield partner, struggled to make hay against English and O'Donovan. Moved to centre forward in the second half where he had more impact, but had to drop out the field more often after the dismissal of Connors.
