2. Eoghan Connolly Rating: 7/10 Connolly was solid if unspectacular on Saturday. He picked up Donnacha Ó Dalaigh and Peter Casey at different stages of the match and did the needful well. Has done well in his debut league campaign.

3. Michael Breen Rating: 7/10 Picked up Limerick's talisman in Aaron Gillane throughout this game and kept him very quiet; Gillane only scoring 0-1 from play which was put on a plate for him by a teammate. Struggled and looked uncomfortable receiving short puck outs in the second half. However, Breen's run in the back division must be regarded as a success.

4. Johnny Ryan Rating: 6/10 Ryan had a mixed bag on Saturday night. Looked comfortable in the first half but when the pressure was ramped up come the second 35 minutes, he made a number of errors on the ball and was caught on the wrong side of Peter Casey for the Limerick goal. A huge learning curve.

5. Dan McCormack Rating: 6/10 McCormack was tasked with picking up Cian Lynch for much of the first half, and he struggled to curtail the Patrickswell man. He was penalised for several fouls on him - albeit with a number of them falling into the 'soft' category. Has plenty to offer Tipp but it will probably be further up the pitch.
