1. Rhys Shelly Rating: 8/10 He will never have an easier day at the office with the sheer volume of puck out options he had all game, and he was laser accurate with all of his passes throughout. Conceded three goals but was unlucky not to stop the penalty in the first half and made a good save from Jason Sampson in the second before Cillian Kiely’s goaled 21 yard free.

3. Michael Breen Rating: 8/10 Offaly had a small bit of joy with direct long ball into the Tipp full back line at different stages, but Breen had a very composed evening overall as his possession stats were off the charts. Used the ball very well and looks to be confident now in the number three jersey.

4. Craig Morgan Rating: 7/10 It was great to see the Kilruane MacDonaghs back in the blue and gold and despite his hurling being slightly rusty, he looked in very good shape. He was withdrawn in the 47th minute with a minor hamstring injury but is expected to be available for this weekend. A welcomed addition back.
