1. Rhys Shelly Rating: 8/10 He will never have an easier day at the office with the sheer volume of puck out options he had all game, and he was laser accurate with all of his passes throughout. Conceded three goals but was unlucky not to stop the penalty in the first half and made a good save from Jason Sampson in the second before Cillian Kiely’s goaled 21 yard free.

10. Alan Tynan Rating: 8/10 Like Stakelum, he was ravenous for work and was a constant of possession all day. Direct running, aggressive tackling and some good link up with his teammates were all par for the course on the day for the Roscrea man. A strong outing.

11. Jason Forde Rating: 8/10 It seemed as though Forde had missed no game time as he looked very sharp throughout and knocked over his frees with comfort. Took his goals incredibly well - especially the second - and finished with a huge total of 2-11.

12. Seamus Kennedy Rating: 6/10 Probably his least influential performance in a Tipp jersey this year, but given the level of opposition, there won’t be too many worries about the St Marys man going into the Galway game. Along with Stakelum and Tynan, he sets the tone.

13. Jake Morris Rating: 9/10 Had the right attitude right from the off and despite some iffy first touches early in the game, he sharpened up and had a hand in so many scores while also bagging a cool 0-7 from play. His hard running was far too much for the Offaly defence.
