A motorist who was involved in a single vehicle collision outside Roscrea was found to be driving without insurance, Nenagh District Court was told.

Dayle O’Meara of 25 Aryhill Court, Roscrea, pleaded to driving without insurance at Streanstown, Roscrea, on July 3, 2022.

He also pleaded to failing to produce an NCT certificate on the same occasion.

His solicitor, Mariea Flanagan, told the court that Mr O’Meara was not driving at present and that any disqualification would have an impact as his partner was pregnant.

Judge Elizabeth MacGrath fined Mr O’Meara €150 for having no insurance.

She fined him a further €150 for failing to produce an NCT certificate.

She took a number of other charges into account.
