Tipperary native presents inherited landscape exhibition

In his exhibition Gordon Hogan’s work looks at the inherited landscape.
The exhibition is made up of all new works, which include a large-scale installation, video art and sculpture relief works.
From the earliest times, humans have tried to contain and control the landscape through building, reclamation, and alteration.
The legacy of the changes made, the buildings and structures placed upon our landscape and their eventual collapse over time are central in this series of works.
With this physical collapse can be the suggestion of allied changes in political, religious, and societal structures, happening contemporaneously or following later in time.
Gordon Hogan studied at Limerick School of Art and Design and at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts In Germany. After spending over twenty years in Munich, this will be his first solo exhibition in Ireland.
