Tipperary school basketball team become south-east regional champions

Christmas arrived early for our u16 Basketball team following their incredible victory over Abbey CBS Tipperary in the recent South East Regional final.

The match took two periods of extra time to determine a winner, and thankfully for Coláiste Mhuire we came out on top, winning by four points.

There was jubilant scenes as captain James Woodlock lifted the Cup.

Congratulations also to their manager/coach Ms Emma Carey, who has worked tirelessly with this great group of players over the last few months.

We wish them all the best as they progress to the All-Ireland semi-final where they will play Gaelcholáiste an Phiarsaigh from Dublin. Maith sibh!
