Tipperary school celebrates All-Ireland victory as Liam MacCarthy pays a school visit

Clerihan National School
The children of Clerihan National School had some very special visitors on Thursday, October 23. Tipperary manager Liam Cahill and senior hurler Johnny Ryan arrived at the school bringing along the Liam MacCarthy Cup.
Liam Cahill and Johnny Ryan spoke to the pupils about Tipperary’s recent success and fielded some tough questions from the children.
They shared inspiring messages about teamwork, effort and dedication. They reminded everyone that success does not happen overnight but comes from putting in the effort and most importantly being a good listener. They spoke about the importance of respect. Respect for teammates, trainers, the opposition and oneself.
