Tipperary students attend model United Nations General Assembly

Transition Year students attended the Model United Nations conference over three days last week in Clonmel. This is a students’ simulation of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

The delegates had the opportunity to debate issues of serious relevance in today’s world, such as women’s rights, youth, health and migration.

Well done to the girls involved: Niamh Foley, Meadbh O’Connell, Ines de Vigo, Niamh O’Regan, Cara Feeley, Aishling Kirwan, Oliwia Domagala-Pszenica and Amelia Nagiel. Míle buíochas to their mentors, Ms Pippa Rapaport and Ms Susan McGee.
