Tipperary students take part in French exchange programme

Ursuline TY students Anna O’Callaghan, Siobhan Dowd, Tessa Kearney, Sophie Quirke, Sophie Coughlan and Cáit Browne travelled to the Ursuline Sister school in Blanche de Castille in Nantes last weekend.

The students are staying with host families and attending French Secondary School every day.

They are immersing themselves in the French language and culture, with an aim to improving their spoken French and understanding of the people, especially young people their own age.
