Tipperary students visit TUS to learn about the impact of plastic on nature

Our Climate Literacy Group visited TUS (Technological University of the Shannon) Thurles, where they studied the use of plastic in our world.
They discussed and organised rubbish into compost, landfill and recycling.
Students were shocked to learn of the continued presence of plastic within nature and the adverse effect it can have on animals, with serious consequences for food chains and biodiversity.
