Tipperary weather station records hottest ever day in April

A new record was set for April at the weather station in Gurteen
Tipperary was one of eight counties to set new records for April temperatures on Wednesday, according to figures from the weather station at Gurteen, Co Tipperary.
The official temperature recorded by the station was 23.6C with the previous record being 21C recorded in 2019.
