Heavy goods vehicles won't have access through the West Gate while trial pit works are taking place

Tipperary County Council has given notice that temporarily traffic management measures will be in place on the R-885 at West Gate, Main Street, Carrick-on-Suir from 11pm tonight (Wednesday, April 9) until 6am tomorrow (Thursday, April 10) to facilitate the digging of trial pits.

Local access will be maintained for small vehicles during this period but there will be no access for HGVs,
