Congratulations to our third-year students Harry Butler & Pádraig O’Halloran on winning the Best Innovation Award in the Intermediate Category of the (SEP) Student Enterprise Programme at the National Final held in Mullingar.

They received €300 and a Best Innovation Award trophy. This is the second-highest award in the Intermediate Category of which, there were 26 teams, 28,000 students from around the Ireland initially entered the SEP.

Thanks to Ms. Miriam Bergin, Ms Áine O’Brien and Ms Elaine Molumby, who have worked tirelessly through mentoring our young entrepreneurs since last September.

A huge amount of work was inputted with business plans, marketing on social media and interview prepping behind the scenes with our Business students that culminated in reaching the National Final.

Pádraig and Harry’s a project was based on designing a tool for slurry tanks to open and close valves on the backsplash plate of slurry tanks.
