Two Tipperary brothers to appear on RTÉ's First Dates Ireland this Thursday

Gary Lyons and his brother Anthony - both from Thurles - will appear on RTÉ's First Dates this Thursday.

Gary is also known as 'MC Daycent' rose to fame by reaching the semi-finals of Ireland's Got Talent in 2019.

He has since grown quite the social media following on Instagram, Snapchat and Tik Tok.

By day Gary works as a barber in Kilkenny.

Anthony is an Aircraft Engineer.

It's Gary's second time appearing on the show.

After a less than daycent outcome on his first date, former Ireland's Got Talent star Gary from Tipperary (aka MC Daycent) returns to the restaurant for a double date accompanied by his younger brother Anthony – best friend but also self-confessed ‘worst wingmen ever’.

Anthony (33) meets Bart Simpson fan Angie (35) from Australia who is looking for a Keanu Reeves/Jack Black combo...meanwhile, things heat up for Gary (36) as he encounters the ‘chaotic energy’ of fire breathing Oriel (33) from Kildare.

Adventurous Trina (67) from Balbriggan meets long suffering dad Leo (68) from Sandyford whose daughters applied to First Dates for him….

Hip-hop dancer George (22) from Glasnevin and drag queen Killian (22) from Ballybrack compare moves.
