FBD Insurance has announced that RDE Electrical Engineering from Thurles and Rivesci from Clonmel , two local businesses based in Tipperary, are among 11 small and medium-sized enterprises selected to receive a €25,000 advertising package each as part of its €275,000 Advertising Support Campaign.

Now in its second year, the campaign supports FBD customers with advertising across prime billboards, radio, print, digital and video to help shine a spotlight on what these businesses do and the value they provide to their communities.

Founded by Robert Doran, RDE Electrical Engineering delivers electrical installations and pumping systems to homes and businesses across the region. Known for quality workmanship and high safety standards, the company has built strong local relationships through reliability and care.

Run by husband-and-wife team Shannon Forrest and Declan Malone, Rivesci began as a food truck before pivoting to a permanent shop and production space.

Known for their small-batch award-winning condiments made onsite, the couple have built a loyal customer base with their unique product range, quality coffee, and proud support for other local Irish suppliers and artisans.

Sharon Treanor, Head of Marketing at FBD Insurance, commented: “At FBD Insurance, supporting our customers and local communities across all 34 of our branches is central to everything we do. SMEs are the backbone of Ireland’s economy and society, and we are proud to continue highlighting the vital role they play. This advertising support campaign is about giving these businesses the visibility they deserve, helping them share their stories and reach more customers during what continues to be a challenging time for many small enterprises.”

The campaign also features stories and testimonials from loyal customers, highlighting the essential role businesses like RDE Electrical Engineering and Rivesci play in their locality. The initiative forms part of FBD’s broader ‘Funding, Backing, Donating’ strategy to support Irish communities.
