UPDATE: Almost 40 Ukrainian nationals living in a refugee situation in Tipperary village

Refugee Update:

As of Sunday, April 23, 38 Ukrainian nationals continue living in a refugee situation at our Community and Sports Centre in Littleton.

Set in the heart of our peaceful countryside it provides a safe refuge after months of fear and destruction.

While many are involved in cooking and cleaning others are helping to clean and weed the parking and leisure area around the Centre.

Those with little knowledge of English find integration with the local community more difficult.

Thanks are due to all who from official and voluntary groups provide hospitality and orientation for our temporary guests.
