Ursuline students qualify for the All-Ireland Track and Field finals

Congratulations to the three Ursuline athletes who have qualified for the All-Ireland Track and Field finals on the back of their success competing in the Munsters last weekend in Kerry.

Emily Davidson, fifth-year, scooped a bronze medal in the Senior long jump competition. In the Minor shot putt Lorna Ryan came second to take the silver. Sarah McGinley finished a comfortable third in the Junior shot putt in a repeat performance of her successful 2022 All Ireland qualification.

Aisling O’Reilly ran the Junior 1500m and placed in the top seven with a fine time of 5.20. Best of luck to the girls who will compete in the All Ireland Track Field in their chosen disciplines on Saturday, June 3.
