Vision Ireland to host fundraiser coffee morning in local Tipperary Town

Bookworm, Thurles, will play host to the event
A coffee morning fundraiser for the Vision Ireland Community Day will take place on Wednesday, April 9.
This day aims to break down loneliness in our communities, especially for those with sight loss, by fostering connections, raising awareness, and promoting inclusivity.
Through local community events, we’ll create welcoming spaces for everyone to come together, socialise, and build meaningful connections.
Vision Ireland works tirelessly to ensure that those living with sight loss have access to the resources, training, and community connections they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
As part of their fundraising efforts, the organisers are reaching out to local businesses to ask for support in making the event a success.
There are many ways businesses can get involved, whether through a financial donation or by providing items such as baked goods, coffee, or raffle prizes to support the day.
They say that the generous support of the public will not only contribute to a great cause but will also help bring the community together, showing support for inclusion and care for neighbours, but also in support of those who rely on Vision Ireland’s vital services.
The coffee morning will take place on Wednesday, April 9, at Bookworm bookshop on Parnell Street in Thurles.
If you are interested in supporting this event in any way, the organisers ask that you contact 087 388 6495.
They say your generosity and community spirit can make a real difference to our community, and they appreciate any support you can provide.
