Senior Hurling - Group 1 Drom & Inch are one of the few teams to have wrapped up top spot and qualification from the group with a game to spare, along with their opponents JK Brackens, who go the opposite direction as they are guaranteed to be in relegation action. Second place comes down to a straight shootout between Mullinahone and Nenagh Éire Óg with the winner clinching second place. A draw would result in Nenagh qualifying by virtue of better scoring difference. Group 2 Top spot is up for grabs in Group 2 with Toomevara and Roscrea going head-to-head for the honour. Toome have already qualified for the last eight, but will need a win or draw to clinch top spot, while a Roscrea win would see the Reds clinch top spot. Moycarkey Borris will need a Toomevara win and will hope the scoring difference of six points is swung in their favour should they account for Kilruane MacDonaghs. However, should Kilruane MacDonaghs win against Moycarkey Borris they would be safe from relegation with the mid men instead finishing bottom. Group 3 Loughmore Castleiney can confirm top spot with either a win or a draw in their final game against Upperchurch Drombane, with the Church needing a win along with help from elsewhere from Templederry Kenyons in their game over Holycross Ballycahill. Templederry have a huge outside chance of progression but would need a big win over the mid-men due to their -13 score difference, along with hoping for Loughmore Castleiney to do the business in their game. Three teams could still end up in relegation or qualify for the quarter-finals depending on the results. Group 4 The group of death lives up to its billing going into round three, with all four teams still in the running to qualify for the quarter-finals. Borris-Ileigh currently top the group on three points, and will know that a win or draw against Thurles Sarsfields will see them safely through. Kiladangan and Sarsfields are both on two points, but the Thurles men are handicapped by their negative score difference of -6, and

Premier Intermediate - Group 1 Cashel King Cormacs sit atop Group 1 with two wins and are in poll position to top the group. St Marys are second by virtue of head-to-head over Ballina, and the lakesiders will need Moyne Templetuohy to do them a favour against the Clonmel side, along with a win over Cashel to finish second and qualify. Moyne Templetuohy still have a mathematical chance of qualifying but due to their poor score difference, it is an unlikely scenario. Group 2 Two games with plenty to play for in this group. Like the group of death in the senior championship, all four teams can still qualify for the quarter-finals. Swans sit top on three points and will clinch top spot with a win over Éire Óg who are on two points along with Thurles Sarsfields. Sean Treacys will need to win against Sarsfields and hope Carrick Swans can win their game, and that will see the Kilcommon men qualify second. Group 3 This group is far more clear-cut in terms of the possible outcomes. Burgess sit top with two wins and a +14 scoring difference, while Clonakenny are second on three points with a +11 scoring difference. Newport would need to beat Silvermines by a huge margin - as they sit on a -12 score difference, and would need Burgess to offset the scoring with a big win over Clonakenny. Essentially, it looks like the loser of Newport and Silvermines will be in relegation, as Burgess and Clonakenny battle it out for the top spot in their clash. Group 4 Lorrha have qualified with a game to spare, but will still need a win to finish top of the group, as they currently sit on four points ahead of their final game against Portroe, who are confirmed for the relegation dogfight. Killenaule and Gortnahoe Glengoole will battle to see who follows Lorrha into the quarter-finals. With both teams on two points, it is a winner takes all game, although a draw will be enough for Killenaule to progress due to their far superior scoring difference.
