ALERT: Council set to close this Tipperary road for a period of two months
Intention To Close The L-6301 Ballinard To Killenaule, Co.Tipperary
Tipperary County Council have given advanced notice this morning that they will close the L-6301 road Ballinard to Killenaule, Co Tipperary.
The road will be closed from 07:00hrs on Monday 13 January 2025 to 19:00hrs on Friday 14 March 2025.
An alternative route has been provided whereby traffic travelling from Coolbawn to Rathkenny Junction is to be diverted on the R689 at Coolbawn Cross and turn at Crosscannon onto The New Line L2301 and turn right in Drangan Village onto the L2303 and vice versa for traffic travelling from Rathkenny Junction to Coolbawn Cross.
The reason for closure is to facilitate the laying of new Water to eradicate Leakage and water quality issues.
Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday 19 December 2024 or by e-mail to [email protected]
