Art exhibition was held at Clonmel Library

Caroline Dougan is an amateur artist living in Marlfield, Clonmel. She paints in oils, mostly using photographs as a reference. Nature is her inspiration, so she always has her camera at the ready.

Although Caroline has taken art classes on and off over the years, it's only since joining a new art group, Random Artists of Tipperary South (RATS, now based at Market Place) that she is really concentrating on her painting.

The group has had many exhibitions over the past four years, in Clonmel Library, Clonmel Museum and even as far as Italy last year. So with all this new experience, and a now or never moment, Caroline recently held her first solo exhibition in Clonmel Library.

An official launch was held, with Mayor Siobhan Ambrose opening the show to a large attendance of guests.
