Clinics will be held in Cappawhite, Cahir, and Cashel during July

Blood donation clinics are appealing to people in Tipperary to donate, as they have witnessed a noticeable drop in attendance during the good weather.

While many people are enjoying the sunshine and holiday season, hospitals continue to need blood every day of the year. Patients undergoing cancer treatment, people involved in accidents, those requiring surgery, and new mothers all depend on a steady supply of blood donations.

To that end, clinics will be held on Thursday July 9 in Cappawhite Community Centre from 4.30pm to 8.10pm, at the Cahir House Hotel on Wednesday July 22 from 3:50pm to 8.10pm, and at the Halla na Feile Cashel on Thursday July 23, also between 3:50pm to 8.10pm. Appointments need to be made beforehand by calling 1800 731 137.

New donors always welcome.
