Christmas comes early as new business opens in this Tipperary village

Christmas has come a little early to the village of Emly this year with the opening of Seasons Café and Bake Shop. 

Local Chef Catherine Beary has opened this wonderful little Café in the heart of the Little Town of Emly. The Café will serve breakfasts, lunches, dinners and baked goods, with an array of pastries also available.

The new menu also has sausage rolls, beef samosas, sandwiches, beef and chicken dishes, fish dishes, soups, pancakes, homemade brown bread, scones and much much more. It is a brilliant addition to the Village, which historically has had a rich history of food service.

Catherine is a qualified Chef having worked previously in the Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare, Dingle, Dublin and she also spent several years as a Head Chef in Vancouver in Canada.

People locally will recognise her time from O'Callaghan's in Mitchelstown recently. 

Catherine has transformed what was once Hanley's Pub in Emly into this new business with the help of her partner Clive Davison.

Clive is recognisable to many from his business DAD (Domestic Appliance Doctor). Clive is very gifted with his hands and his talents came into use as he made the tables, counters and flooring for the fabulous new Cafe, and helped transform the building with Catherine's guidance.

It is now a stunning setting with fabulous food on offer.

The Opening Hours for the business are Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and also from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on a Saturday and from 9am to 3pm on a Sunday.

A Full Bar Licence to sell alcohol will also be available in the New Year, so you can enjoy a drink with your meal.

This is a very exciting addition to the business landscape of Emly and a huge boost to the local economy as several new jobs have been created as a a result of the Cafè opening.
