Graffiti was found at Nenagh Playground recently

A well-frequented playground in Nenagh, County Tipperary, has been defaced with disturbing graffiti, including swastikas, racial slurs, and vulgar images.

The vandalism occurred at St Paul’s playground, drawing concern from local representatives. Councillor JP O’Meara noted that the hateful markings were located near the section designated for younger children.

Tipperary County Council has confirmed that steps will be taken to remove the graffiti promptly.

Prior to the incident, students from Nenagh College had begun working on murals to brighten up the playground.

The council has stated that these students plan to return and complete the artwork as soon as possible.
