Great sadness in one Tipperary village after passing of three community legends

Rest in Peace
Kilsheelan/Kilcash Notes
It has been a week of much sadness in the parish with the passing of Kathleen Walsh, Jimmy Collum and Phil Gleeson.
Kathleen was an icon in the parish, in her 94th year she had a magnetic personality and was a great conversationalist, Kathleen's door was always open for anyone who wished to drop in for a chat and a cuppa, her beautifully manicured garden was always a joy to behold.
On a historical note she was very proud of the fact that the GAA club was founded in her home in 1924.
Condolences to Thomas, Catherine and family.
Jimmy's passing will also leave a huge void, a Donegal native, he will always be associated with the Mick Delahunty Orchestra, his beautiful singing voice made him an intricate part of that legendary orchestra, Jimmy was a great friend to all who knew him and his warm personality will be sorely missed.
Deepest sympathies to Breda, Kay, Philip, Niall and Edward and extended families.
Phil was a native of Thurles and lived a quiet life in his adopted village, he was always willing to help his neighbours and was an adept gardener who kept many gardens in ship shape. To the extended Gleeson family we extend our sympathies.
Sympathies also to Micheal and Eileen Watson, Michaels mother Annie passed away recently at the great age of 103 and was interred in Waterford.
