10. Conor Stakelum Rating: 7/10 Included from the start after impressing in his sub appearances in the opening two rounds, Stakelum set the tone for the hard work of the team in the first half. His tackle count and hooking and harrying was through the roof by the time he was withdrawn late in the game, and his big hit on Sean Finn at the uncovered stand side line epitomised his effort on the day. Very positive.

11. Noel McGrath Rating: 8/10 Calls for this man to be cast aside by a lot of supporters in recent times are being made to look very foolish after McGrath once again put in a quality display. Stepping into the free taking role with ease, McGrath hit only one free wide during the game and was heavily involved in the play, but most impressively, he worked like a dog and looked like a man ten years his junior. A class act.

12. Ger Browne Rating: 8/10 Browne had a fantastic first half, scoring 0-3 from play and like Stakelum on the other wing, worked extremely hard around the pitch. Limerick tightened up on Browne in the second period, and despite some aimless shooting in patches he hurled very well.

13. Paul Flynn Rating: 6/10 The ball into Flynn was very much sparse as most of Tipp's scores were coming from out the field. Got onto a few balls and set up a couple of scores but struggled to make any real influence on the scoreboard.
