New lease of life for Market Place in Clonmel

The opening of a new space for artists and a coffee shop is celebrated in Clonmel
The opening of a unit in the Market Place development in Clonmel is such a rare occurrence that it generated good cause to celebrate.
Market Place, a vacant blight on the town centre of Clonmel for years, was given a new lease of life last Thursday evening when a new unit was opened, which will be the home of Random Artists of Tipperary South (RATS).
The new unit opened for business this morning (Tuesday 23 June). It will open from 10 am to 5pm from Tuesday to Saturday every week.
The launch of the artistic space and coffee shop last Thursday evening was greeted with a musical celebration as guests admired the work of local artists in the new outlet.
The outlet will open from Tuesday to Saturday every week and it marks a collaboration between David Anchell of Camida and the RATS group that he is a supporter of.
