A school in Nenagh has been given the green light to build a new all weather pitch for their students
Planning permission has been granted for a school in Tipperary to construct a new all weather pitch for their students.
St Joseph’s CBS Primary School in Nenagh submitted plans for a new pitch that were accepted recently by the council.
The school will construct an all-weather training pitch, complete with a five-metre-high precast concrete ball wall, perimeter fencing and floodlighting, subject to five conditions.
One condition listed by the council asks that the facility and associated lighting be restricted to set operating hours, running from 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 9pm on weekends and bank holidays, to protect nearby residential amenities.
Construction conditions also require strict controls on noise, dust, traffic safety, and road cleanliness, with work limited to specified daytime hours and prohibited on Sundays and public holidays.
