Tipperary County Council has received a proposal to establish a Pilates studio in a former public house in Nenagh.

Claire Halpin has submitted a request to breathe new life into the vacant Dowlings pub at the corner of Kenyon Street and Stafford Street by transforming it into a Pilates studio.

The proposed studio would offer small, bookable classes from early morning to early evening, aiming to create a calm, health-focused space in place of the pub’s former late-night bustle.

A decision on the application is expected from the council by February 4.
