Second gaming centre application lodged for Clonmel town

The council are now considering two separate planning applications for gaming centres in the town
A second planning permission has been lodged this week for a gaming centre in Clonmel, this time on the ground floor of 19-20 Irishtown.
The planning is a separate one which has been lodged for the former Chawke’s Bar, and by a separate company.
Circles Leisure Centre Ltd. are seeking permission for the facility, with plans showing space for about 48 players.
The planning is at an early stage, and documents were submitted to the council this week.
A decision is due by early November.
Separately, an application for a similar development is being considered by the council at the former Chawke’s Bar in the town; a decision is due on that planning application in about two weeks.
