10. Sean Hayes (Kiladangan) Hayes really stepped up to the mark for Kiladangan in a game that went right down to the wire. His pace was a thorn in Holycross' side all game, setting up several goal chances, with two of those being converted by Bryan McLoughney and Billy Seymour, while he also hit 0-3 vital points in the game.

11. John McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney) We're running out of superlatives for this man's displays in the green and red of Loughmore Castleiney, and he was once again key for the mid men in their narrow win over Roscrea. Continuously posed a threat when his team were up against it, scoring a classy first half goal and hit some key points from play, while also proving laser accurate from placed balls.

12. Billy Seymour (Kiladangan) The amount of shots this man got away was frightening last Saturday. Bryan O'Mara stood off him for much of the game and he was found relentlessly by teammates, and only for some poor striking he could have ended with a massive total from play. But in fairness, he continually took on responsibility and hit some nice points, along with a well taken goal in the second half as he is getting to his top form. Finished with a big total of 1-10.

13. Darragh Woods (Holycross Ballycahill) A highlights reel of Woods' points in this year's championship would be a sight to behold, with his best coming in the narrow loss to Kiladangan last Saturday. Some of his scores were out of this world, on the back foot under pressure and they came at times were ideal for his team and it gave a huge amount of confidence to his team throughout the game. A fantastic year from the former Tipp underage player.
