1. Paddy McCormack (Thurles Sarsfields) There was no really impressive standout performance from a goalkeeper last weekend in any of the games, but Paddy McCormack caught the eye more than most in his side's impressive win over Loughmore Castleiney. He was helpless for Loughmore's goal but his general play was crisp, while his puck outs were very efficient and accurate. What a servant he continues to be for Sarsfields.placeholder image

14. Paul Flynn (Kiladangan) Flynn seldom has a quiet game for Kiladangan and while he wasn't at his best in the Toome game, he still made key contributions with his first half-goal a really big score even that early in the game. Finished the game with 1-3 and always contributed on the scoreboard.

15. Darragh Stakelum (Thurles Sarsfields) The performance of the weekend came on Saturday nigh in Semple Stadium as Darragh Stakelum completely routed the Loughmore full back line. He couldn't be handled by Brian McGrath firstly, and then Lorcan Egan as Stakelum bagged a cool 0-6 from play over the course of the game. Some of those scores were real beauties and he looks a shoe-in to see Tipperary action in 2024.
