1. Martin Sadlier (Clonoulty Rossmore) A man who conceded three goals against Nenagh, but only for the Clonoulty netminder, it could have been a whole lot worse for his side. Particularly in the first half, Sadlier made some excellent saves with Nenagh raining shots on goal, with Sadlier making a fantastic double save. Perhaps he could have done better with Cian Crowley's second half goal, but he is well deserving of his place.

6. Alan Flynn (Kiladangan) Once again, he continues to be a top performer for Kiladangan in their draw with Loughmore. Flynn was one of Kiladangan's best performers in the north championship, and he continued his good form with an influential performance, in a side that isn't operating at full capacity at the moment.

7. Podge Campion (Drom & Inch) In an easy opening day win against Templederry, Campion was really to the forefront in a big team performance. He was constantly on the ball, and Drom's running game from deep really seems to be suiting the big centre back, as he is a very hard man to stop when moving forward. Contributed 0-2 as well in the win.

8. Sean McAdams (Kilruane MacDonagh) McAdams was one of the standout performers for MacDonaghs in their hammering of Moycarkey last weekend. He got through his usual mountain of work, and contributed a good tally of 0-5 from midfield. Top effort.

9. Noel McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney) Like a fine wine, Noel McGrath seems to be getting better with age. He was pure class again for his club, and after a fine year with Tipperary, he is far from finished. He has taken on even more leadership with the loss of his brother John and whipped over 0-3 against Kiladangan. Pure quality.
