10. Padraig Greene (Upperchurch Drombane) Upperchurch are a really workmanlike team, but Padraig Greene is the outlier as he has a real ability to finish and score from all angles. He took his goal very well against Toome and notched some really good points as he finished up with 1-4 from play.

11. Willie Cleary (Kilruane MacDonaghs) A man who hurled a storm under intense pressure was Willie Cleary. There was a lot on the line in the Clonoulty match, and Cleary kept a cool head throughout with his free taking and was good in general play too.

12. Seamus Callanan (Drom & Inch) Callanan is really looking the part this year after his extended break from intercounty action. He was all over the pitch at times on Sunday, and scored 0-5 from play, one of which was a monster touch and double over his shoulder from some 80 yards out. He looks eager and ready to get back into a Tipp jersey.

13. Darragh Woods (Holycross/Ballycahill) Woods backed up his good display against Toomevara in round two with an even better performance against Mullinahone as he proved to be completely unmarkable. He registered 0-12 in the game, with 0-6 of those coming from play in a terrific shooting performance. A classy operator.
