The Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship quarter-final games took place last weekend

14. Darragh McCarthy (Toomevara) A player that is growing with each game, regardless of the grade. McCarthy's two first-half goals were fantastic finishes and he was involved in so many of Toome's score on the day. A massive, massive talent.

15. Paddy Creedon (Thurles Sarsfields) Creedon was one of the few Sarsfields players to get to any great height in the semi-final loss, and his 2-1 scoring burst in the first half had Sarsfields in real contention. Ball dried up into him in the second half and that was no fault of his.
