1.
2. Stephen Maher (Thurles Sarsfields) Despite having been a apart of a tough semi-final loss to eventual winners Roscrea, Maher was terrific in a lot of games for Sars, particularly in the big win over Killenaule where he was outstanding, showing his experience from his years in the first team.
2.
3. Kieran Ryan (Burgess) Despite a slow start to the year, Burgess came into the championship in their win over St Marys in the final group game, and full back Ryan was solid all year thereafter. He picked up the dangerous inside forward more often than not, and has filled the Shane Maher shaped hole left in the heart of the defence in recent years. Consistent.
3.
4. James Synnott (Roscrea) Synnott was a big part of a Roscrea back division which was very lean throughout the championship. Comfortable in possession, he was always an outlet to start attacks and defended solidly to boot.
4.
5. Brian Maher (Gortnahoe Glengoole) Maher was a really consistent player for his side's run to the Gortnahoe run to this year's final. His athleticism was a massive weapon for the mid outfit, while he always had a scoring contribution from his forays up the field.
