Tipperary gardaí give clues after 'lovely lady' drops in sum of money into Garda Station
Gardaí have given a number of 'clues' for those seeking to collect the money
Gardaí in Cahir are hoping to reunite some lost cash with its rightful owner after a “lovely lady” called into the station over the weekend with money she found while out for a walk.
However, before anyone starts chancing their arm, gardaí say they’ll be asking a few key questions before handing it back.
Anyone who thinks they may have misplaced the money is asked to contact Cahir Garda Station — but be prepared to answer the following:
Where was it found?
Clue: it was less than 10km from the station
What denominations was it in?
It’s more than €20 but less than €1,000,000
And what time of day do you think you lost it?
Gardaí say they will only be dealing with genuine callers, adding that the whole thing is “like the Today FM cash call… kind of!”
Only genuine callers please!
