Gordon Elliott completed a double at Punchestown on Monday as Tipperary jockey Harry Swan was aboard Santo Sospir capping off a fine day of racing.

First off Familiar Dreams added to four bumper wins and a maiden success on the Flat when taking the two and a half-mile maiden hurdle for trainer Gordon Elliott .

Ridden by Sam Ewing, the six-year-old as sent off the 6/4 favourite and he duly delivered when beating Willie Mullins’ 9/5 chance by three-parts of a length, the pair all of 23 lengths back to the third horse, Edward O'Grady’s 20/1 shot Our Soldier.

Elliott completed a double on the day when taking the bumper with the Harry Swan-ridden Santo Sospir. The Robcour-owned 4/1 chance had it all to do with a furlong to race but he picked up well and collared Pat Doyle’s 9/4 chance The Wager close to the line to win by a neck.
